This is the drawing that im working on at the moment. This one measures 5×7. I love drawing cats, they look so amazing in pencil. The texture from their fur and the beautiful designs in their eyes makes them so unique. I haven’t been able to work on it as much since ive been writing tutorials,but hopefully it will be done within the next couple of days. I’ll be writing tutorials just on cats, from how to draw the fur to how to get those shiny beautiful eyes that cats are so known for. Like with all my other drawings, i like to work in layers. I usually start off with a base and start adding detail over that. Like I’ve mentioned before, when you understand what you are drawing you, the drawing comes to life. Study photographs, they are helpful in creating beautiful drawings. Just with this cat I’ve used dozens of reference photos, they have helped in adding realism.
