Baby Gorilla
This little guy was my first drawing where i mixed an animal and plants. The grass and the flowers gives it another dimension. I also loved working on the textures from the gorilla’s fur and the log that its sitting on. These animals are so close to us humans and this drawing shows why they are considered ‘almost human’. We may not look the same but they have similar mannerisms that make us alike.

JMattHicks Thank you so much. Even though i agree that for some its easier than for others to draw. I still believe that anyone can become great at drawing with practice and dedication.
As for me, the tiger is my favorite animal but gorillas are on my top list for their power and beauty.

Absolutely incredible, gorillas are arguably my favorite animal (hard to beat a tiger!). I remember as a kid spending hours trying to become a great artist...I loved drawing but it just didn't "click" for me like it does others (like yourself!). Some folks got, most don't, and I think it's safe to say you do. Great work!
