Eye of the Tiger

This beautiful tiger is part of limited edition big cat series. The piercing look in its eyes is what caught my attention. Tigers are one of the most beautiful animals in the world and it was a pleasure to make it part of my gallery. Its unfortunate that because of their beauty they have been hunted close to extinction and hopefully future generations will be able to see their beauty in person. Again, with this drawing i had not yet started to use the pencil technique that i now use to draw hair. This is the first drawing for the year and i know there will be many more to follow. Hope you enjoy it.

Hi I am 12 and I love how you showed the sunlight that was coming down through the trees on the tigers forhead. I love your work and you are my idol. Do you have any tips on drawing animals? I am trying to make them look realistic but I’m not having any luck.
