This was a long project. The whole drawing is a combination of different inspirations, the main one being the style of Ansel Adams. I love contrast and his photography work is amazing. I wanted to give that dramatic look to this drawing, with lots of contrast. This is my third drawing at this size, 30″x40″. Quite of bit of detail was added to this drawing, especially the lion. Im really happy with the results and it was huge learning experience. Photo Reference by: Tambako the Jaguar

I was afraid you wouldn’t update the site anymore. Awesome work. The animals in the background made it even more balanced, Great amount of details. I hope I will achieve this level of excellence one day.

I am always awe-struck when I look into the amount of detail you put into your pencil drawings. Truly inspiring and always reminding me of what comes with patience when drawing.

@Sketch_Artist thank you so much. Patience is very important, not only for pencil but with any other medium.  Just keep in mind that each every hour spent on it will be worth at the end.
