Wolf

The wolf has always been a favourite animal of mine and this project was fun because of that reason. So mysterious and beautiful,they are one of a kind. I wanted to capture not only their physical beauty but also their spirit that makes them so unique. This drawing took me a while to complete and it was mostly because of the hair. The technique that i use works very well but is tedious, so you must have lots of patience but in the end its really worth it.

This cat is just beautiful, i just love the look of it. What made me decide to make this drawing was the pose that it had, it gives it such a unique and intense look. It was a great project also because it was hairless. This meant working with different textures, smooth to semi-rough.

Calico Cat

These cats are one of the most beautiful of all cats. The contrast in color and textures, makes them a great subject. I loved working on this one very much. The original drawing has much more detail then this image. Cats have all the things that i like to put into drawings, textures,reflections and lighting and those are the reasons why i draw them often. I had to use many references for this drawing and it allowed me to understand much better the basic anatomy of these animals. Well if you have any questions please contact me.

Well this one has been one of my most detailed ones. My main focus on this one was the hair. It was a great project on drawing animal hair, which is not the easiest. I love the expression and the lighting, which gives the drawing a very delicate feel. These are so elegant and capturing that elegance along with textures was a challenge but i’m really happy with the overall result.

Springer Spaniel

One of the most loyal and most beautiful dogs. The springer spaniel was a great subject to work with. The texture and the long hair made it an interesting drawing. I loved the expression that this springer spaniel had on it, so it became part of my dog series. Well i hope you enjoy it as much as i did drawing it.

Boxer

This beautiful boxer is part of my dog series. I wanted to captured that known face that makes the boxer so famous and beautiful. The lighting and the pose makes this drawing an interesting one. This dogs are so powerful and yet so affectionate. They make great family pets and it was so great to work on this drawing. I learned so much from this drawing, especially on how to work with textures and lighting. Drawing is a never ending learning experience and i believe that the moment you say to yourself that you have learned everything is the day that you loose yourself. Well i hope you enjoy this one and keep coming back for future drawings.

Rottweiler

This commission drawing was made for my cousin. As you can tell the breed is a rottweiler. The lighting and pose gives him a majestic kind of look. This does are powerful and very protective of their owners. Even though they look like they are always ready to attack, they are very affectionate as well. I enjoy drawing dogs because each one has a very unique personality that shows through the drawing.

This cat was one of my first cat drawing that i did. Before this one i had always love to draw. This is one of the first drawings where i wanted to put in as much detail as possible. It was a great learning experience and helped me in working with animal hair. The main reason i decided to draw this cat was because of the eyes. Ever since this drawing i have enjoyed drawing cat for that reason. They have eyes that are so deep and with so much detail.
